Histoire
La paroisse Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus a été érigée canoniquement le 7 octobre 19661. Dès 1939, le chanoine Joseph Désilets dessert la mission nouvellement organisée2.
L’église a été construite en 19543. Elle devait d’abord servir de chapelle temporaire avant la construction d’une église plus grande, mais les projets d’expansion ne se sont jamais réalisés4. Avant la construction de l’église, le culte était célébré dans le sous-sol de l’école Sainte-Thérèse aujourd’hui démolie5.
La paroisse Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus été dissoute en 2002. Son territoire fut rattaché à celui de la nouvelle paroisse Saint-Vincent-de-Paul6.
