Histoire
La paroisse Saint-Jean-de-Brébeuf a été fondée le 11 octobre 19541.
L’église a été construite en 1956-19572. Elle a été fermée au culte en 2020.
La paroisse Saint-Jean-de-Brébeuf été dissoute en 2002. Son territoire fut rattaché à celui de la nouvelle paroisse Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens3.
La ville de Trois-Rivières a été érigée en 1846. Son territoire s’est agrandi en 1961 suite à l’annexion de la municipalité de Saint-Michel-des-Forges, puis en 2002 suite à l’annexion de la municipalité de Pointe-du-Lac et des villes de Saint-Louis-de-France, Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Sainte-Marthe-du-Cap et Trois-Rivières-Ouest4.
